The Curtis Institute of Music is a private conservatory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1924 by Mary Louise Curtis Bok, a philanthropist and patron of the arts. Curtis is one of the most prestigious music schools in the world, with an acceptance rate of only 4%.
