POMPEU FABRA UNIVERSITY

One of Spain's most prestigious universities is Pompeu Fabra University. Since 2009, it has held the top spot in the country's rankings of scientific productivity. The university does exceptionally well in both national and international rankings, particularly in the study of law, political science, and economics. The economics programmes of UPF are among the top 50 in the world, holding the 20th and 40th spots, respectively, in the QS World University Subject Rankings for Economics and Econometrics in 2016 and Economics & Business in the Times Higher Education Rankings.
