MOUNT ST. MARY'S UNIVERSITY

Mount St. Mary's University, also referred to simply as "The Mount," is a Catholic institution of higher learning that focuses on the liberal arts and is located in Emmitsburg, Maryland. On this campus is located the Catholic seminary that is currently the largest in size in the United States. The Seminary offers a Master of Arts in Theology degree to students who are not clergy. The Richard J. Bolte School of Business, the School of Natural Science and Mathematics, and the College of Liberal Arts are the three schools that offer undergraduate degrees. The university offers over forty different undergraduate majors, minors, concentrations, and special programmes, as well as bachelor's/degree master's combinations in collaboration with other educational institutions, eight master's programmes, and six postgraduate certificate programmes.
