CAPITOL TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY

Private Capitol Technology University was formerly known as Capitol College and is located in South Laurel, Maryland, close to Washington, District of Columbia. A former radioman in the United States Navy established this educational institution in 1927 under the name Capitol Radio Engineering Institute. CREI went through three name changes before settling on its current moniker: in 1964, it became Capitol Institute of Technology; in 1987, it became Capitol College; and in 2014, it adopted its current moniker. Engineering, computer science, information technology, and business are just some of the fields that can be studied in depth at Capitol's undergraduate and graduate levels. It is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education in addition to being categorised as one of the "Special Focus Institutions—Schools of Engineering." Through its Department of Computer Science, Capitol Technology University offers degree programmes at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels of study in the fields of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. These degree programmes can be pursued in the respective concentration areas of Computer Science.
