MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY

Montclair State University was founded as the New Jersey State Normal School and is now a public research university. It offers two-year programs to train teachers. In 2017, it has grown into a doctoral research university with nine separate colleges and two schools. It is the first state college in the area to offer master's degrees and more than one doctoral program. About 300 minor, major, concentration, and certificate programs are available to international students at Montclair State University. With an acceptance rate of 83%, the university has a policy of not being too picky about who gets in. Over 21,000 students from all over the world come to study at the university.
