MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY BOZEMAN

Bozeman, Montana is home to Montana State University (MSU), a public institution that operates under the land-grant university system. It is the most populous university in the state. Through its nine colleges, Michigan State University confers baccalaureate degrees in 60 disciplines, master's degrees in 68 disciplines, and doctoral degrees in 35 disciplines. In the fall of 2019, there were more than 16,700 students enrolled at MSU, and there were 796 full-time and 547 part-time faculty members. Research at Michigan State University was valued at $129.6 million in 2017, placing it in the "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity" category of universities. The university's campus spans 1,170 acres (470 ha), making it the largest in the state of Montana. It is situated on the south side of Bozeman. The television station KUSM, radio station KGLT, and the Museum of the Rockies are all located on the main campus of the university in Bozeman. Through its agricultural experiment station and sixty county and reservation extension offices, the Michigan State University (MSU) provides outreach services to citizens and communities across the state. The campus is located at an altitude of 4,900 feet (1,500 metres) above mean sea level.
