WAIKATO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

The Waikato Institute of Technology, usually referred to as Wintec, is a technological institution located in the Waikato region of New Zealand. Over 130 degrees, diplomas, and certificates are available from Wintec. For nurses, social workers, midwives, graphic designers, performing artists, engineers, tradespeople, early childhood instructors, horticulturists, arborists, and sport scientists, Wintec specialises in applied tertiary training. Programs are available at Levels 1 through 9. 13,000 full- and part-time students attend Wintec. More than 25% of students at Wintec identify as Mori.
