UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AT STOUT

Menomonie, Wisconsin is home to a public institution of higher education known as the University of Wisconsin–Stout (also abbreviated as Stout). More than 9,600 students are currently enrolled at this institution, which is a part of the University of Wisconsin System. The lumber magnate James Huff Stout was responsible for the establishment of the school in 1891, and it was named after him in his honour. Stout University is often referred to as "Wisconsin's Polytechnic University." It is one of two special mission universities in the University of Wisconsin System and offers specialised programmes "related to professional careers in industry, technology, home economics, applied art, and the helping professions." This university is located in the state of Wisconsin. UW–Stout provides students with the opportunity to choose from one of 49 undergraduate majors, 22 graduate majors, two advanced graduate majors, and a doctoral degree.
