ABOUT

River Falls, Wisconsin is home to a public institution of higher education known as the University of Wisconsin–River Falls (UW–River Falls or UWRF). It is affiliated with the University of Wisconsin System in some capacity. The 226-acre campus spans 91 hectares and is located in the St. Croix River Valley on the banks of the Kinnickinnic River. The university occupies a total of 440 acres (178 ha) of land and contains 32 major buildings in addition to two laboratory farms. UWRF had a total enrollment of 6,061 students in more than 40 different undergraduate and graduate programmes during the 2013–2014 academic year. UWRF participates in the American Council of Education Internationalization Laboratory and offers a variety of programmes for international students and those who wish to study in other countries. Additionally, the St. Croix Institute for Sustainable Community Development is located on the university's campus.
