UNIVERSITY OF PUGET SOUND

Tacoma, Washington is home to a prestigious private institution of higher learning known as the University of Puget Sound (often abbreviated as UPS). About 2,600 students come to the university each year from 44 different states and 16 different countries. It provides more than 50 traditional and interdisciplinary areas of study, with more than 1,200 different classes each year. The United Methodist Church serves as the university's sponsoring religious organisation.
