WashU Continuum College, originally Educational Outreach, is part of the UW in Seattle, Washington. UW Continuum College began offering correspondence courses in 1912. This UW unit offers degree programmes, certificate programmes, and select courses through UW Professional & Continuing Education, UW Summer Youth, MOOCs, UW in the High School, UW Summer Quarter, UW International & English Language Programs, and Conference Services. Fee-based, self-sustaining programmes receive no state funding.
