1. There are two campuses at the university: University Quarter and Langstone Campus. The University Quarter is in the Guildhall area of Portsmouth, and the Langstone Campus is in the Milton area. 2. The university offers a wide range of courses, such as Pharmacy, Mechanical Engineering, International Relations and Politics, Palaeontology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, and many more. Some of the study programmes at the university are among the best and have been ranked as such by different groups. In 2014, the university's research was also put in the "excellent" category of the Research Excellence Framework.
