UNIVERSITY OF NORTHAMPTON

1. Northampton Technical College was started, and as things changed, a number of training colleges joined together to form the University of Northampton. It is also one of the few universities to have won Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). In 2012, it was also the first university in the country to be named a "Changemaker Campus." 2. Through different centres, like the University of Northampton Innovation Centre, iCon Environmental Innovation Centre, Sunley Hotel, and Portfolio Innovation Centre, the University of Northampton also has places for business meetings and conferences. The university also has places for students to live.
