Buffalo State College is the colloquial name for the State University of New York College at Buffalo, also known as SUNY Buffalo State, Buffalo State, or simply Buff State. This college is located in Buffalo, New York, and it is a public institution of higher education. It is affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY) system of educational institutions. The Buffalo Normal School, which later became Buffalo State College, was established in 1871. Its original purpose was to educate future teachers. It provides students with 79 different undergraduate majors, 11 different honours options, 11 different post-baccalaureate teacher certification programmes, and 64 different graduate programmes to choose from.
