1. The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) is a public college in South West County of Gloucestershire, England. It is in the market town of Cirencester. The Fairford and Cirencester Farmers' Club met in 1842 and came up with the idea to start the Royal Agricultural College. 2. The university has undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes in agriculture, food, animal science, equine science, farm management, the environment, business, rural land management, and real estate. Students can also take certificates and short-term courses in many different areas of agriculture and environmental studies.
