NSCAD University, also known as the NSCAD or Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, is a public art university. The institution was founded in 1887 by Anna Leonowens as the Victoria School of Art and Design. Later in 1925 renamed the Nova Scotia College of Art.
