NAVAJO TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Navajo Technical University (NTU) is a public tribal land-grant university with campuses in the towns of Chinle, Arizona, and Teec Nos Pos, Arizona. Its main campus is located in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Land grant status was awarded to NTU in 1994. It is the nation's largest tribal college and was founded in 1994. Since 2005, it has held accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission, making it the first institution on an Indian reservation to offer a veterinary technician programme that holds this distinction.
