EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY

The primary campus of Eastern New Mexico University (also known as ENMU or Eastern) is located in Portales, New Mexico; the university also has two more campuses that award associate degrees; these campuses are located in Ruidoso and Roswell, respectively. The Eastern New Mexico Institution (ENMU) is the state of New Mexico's newest and most comprehensive university, as well as the largest regional university in the state (legislated in 1927, opened in 1934). It is a member of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities in addition to being designated as a Hispanic-serving college by the federal government. There are three separate campuses that make up the ENMU System. Dr. Patrice Caldwell, who has served in this role since the year 2020, is currently the Chancellor.
