HERIOT WATT UNIVERSITY

Heriot-Watt University is a public research university based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was established in 1821 as the School of Arts of Edinburgh, the world's first mechanics' institute, and subsequently granted university status by royal charter in 1966. It is the eighth-oldest higher education institute in the UK.

Heriot-Watt has three campuses: Edinburgh, Dubai, and Malaysia. The Edinburgh campus is located in 380 acres of parkland near the city centre. The Dubai campus is located in the heart of the city's business district. The Malaysia campus is located in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia.

Heriot-Watt offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of disciplines, including engineering, science, business, design, and the built environment. The university is also home to a number of world-leading research centers.
