GRACELAND UNIVERSITY

The Graceland University campuses are located in Lamoni, Iowa, and Independence, Missouri. Graceland University is a private institution of higher education. The institution maintains satellite campuses in Centerville and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as well as Trenton, Missouri, where students can complete their undergraduate degrees or earn master's degrees. Additionally, it provides online undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. The college was initially established in the year 1895. The Community of Christ, which was once known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is Graceland's spiritual home and the organisation that founded the mansion (RLDS Church). The main campus in Lamoni, which is located in Iowa, is home to more than fifty different academic programmes, including nine preprofessional programmes and thirty-five undergraduate majors. In addition, there are 18 varsity sports, events open to the entire institution, and intramural sports available on the residential campus. The Edmund J. Gleazer School of Education and the School of Nursing are two of the departments at the Independence campus that provide both graduate and undergraduate degrees. The Community of Christ Seminary also holds some of its classes and other activities on this location. Since June 15, 2017, Patricia Draves has been serving as the president of Graceland.
