CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY

Creighton Institution, located in Omaha, Nebraska, is a Jesuit-affiliated private research university. The Higher Learning Commission has recognised the university's commitment to academic excellence since it was established in 1878 by the Society of Jesus. On its 140-acre (57 hectare) campus, located just outside of Omaha's central business area, the university has 8,393 graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the academic year 2015.
