ALBERT COLLEGE

Founded in 1857, Albert College fosters a heritage of 165 years ans spread across 25 Acres Campus in Belleville. They are Canada's oldest co-educational boarding and day school with a rich cultural heritage, offering courses in Liberal arts, Engineering, Business, and Science. They operate on three buildings on campus, the Junior School, Middle/Senior School, and the Early Primary Learning Centre (EPLC). The College was established as the Belleville Seminary through Methodist Episcopal Church. Due to its strong academic record and in honor of Prince Albert, the College received its university title in 1866 and was renamed Albert University - the Prince Consort of Queen Victoria. Located in College Street East, the University is affiliated with the University of Toronto. It's designed to cater to 150 residents with facilities for 400 students. Like a chapel, a dining hall, an art room, and a science hall. Albert College offers a wide range of programs, specialized art programs, advanced-placement courses, and an English foundation year for first-year English as a second language - ESL students.
