WESTERN NEW ENGLAND UNIVERSITY

Western New England University (WNE) is a private university in Springfield, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1821 as the Springfield Institute of Arts and Sciences. The university has a total enrollment of over 5,000 students, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.

WNE is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The university is also a member of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU).
