UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL LANCASHIRE

A public university with its headquarters in Preston, Lancashire, England, is known as the University of Central Lancashire. Its foundations can be discovered in the 1828-founded Institution For The Diffusion Of Useful Knowledge. It was then renamed as Harris Art College, Preston Polytechnic, and Lancashire Polytechnic before the Privy Council gave it university status in 1992. According to the number of students, the university is the 19th biggest in the UK.
