ABOUT PLYMOUTH STATE UNIVERSITY
Plymouth State University was founded in 1871 as Plymouth Normal School. Plymouth Normal School received an A from the American Council of Teacher Colleges in 1927. This college's first graduate degrees were given in 1948. The state renamed this university in 2003.
