ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS - DALLAS
The University of Texas at Dallas was founded in 1969. It is a public research university that is part of the Universities Research Association. The university built a Graduate Research Center in 1961. In 1967, this centre became known as the Southwest Centre for Advanced Studies. In 1994, the number of students rose by 61%, to about 14,000. In its early years, the university only let people in for undergraduate degree programmes. As the number of students grew, the university started to offer programmes for people who wanted to get a higher degree. People know that the university is one of the best 50-year-old schools in Texas.

ACCOMODATION
There are residence halls, furnished and unfurnished apartments, and both at the University of Texas at Dallas. The dormitories are called University Commons, and only first-year students can live there. Students need to apply for housing as soon as possible because there is no guarantee that there will be space.Residence halls have three-bedroom suites that are fully furnished with beds that can be raised, a desk, a chair, and a dresser.The University is in one of the most popular cities in the United States. This means that apartments, duplexes, and single-family homes are all available off-campus.Housing costs must be paid by August 31 for the fall semester, January 15 for the spring semester, and May 31 for the summer term.
