St. Thomas University was founded in 1910 and is a public university that is paid for by the government. This university started when St. Thomas College was founded. Until 1934, St. Thomas College was a high school and junior college. But on March 9, 1934, the provincial legislature gave this college the power to give degrees and the status of a university. In 1960, this college changed its name to St. Thomas University. With 30 programs in the arts and social sciences, the Bachelor of Arts is at the heart of the St. Thomas learning community. The number of students in this single domain is over 1800. This school has a great campus life and gives high-quality education to international students who want to study in Canada.
