My fascination for Architecture and Design stems from my family vacations at international destinations like Dubai, Istanbul, Singapore, and Russia. I wondered what drove them to build such magnificent structures and how they have maintained them to date. Later, an Aptitude Test revealed my academic strengths to be Mathematics, Science, and Arts. Also, they suggested that my designing skills make me suitable for studying Interior Designing or Architecture. It was obvious that in a few years, I graduated as an Architect and today my passion for Architecture does not allow me to stop at my current qualification. My enthusiasm and industry experience have convinced me that I should take up a full-time Master’s Program from an internationally recognized institution. Considering the prestige and excellence of your University, I will certainly stand closer to my goals, after completing my education at your versatile and diverse campus.
My high school grades allowed me to enroll in one of the best Architectural colleges in India, The Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art (Sir J. J. School of Architecture), Mumbai. In my Bachelor’s, I was particularly fond of Structural Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Steel Structures, Architectural Designing- Urban Context, and Construction Project Management. I developed an interest in Urban Planning and Designing which led me to choose my project related to the same topic. My final year dissertation was titled, ‘.........................’; that received a lot of appreciation from peers and professors. The project was about (details of the project)……………I worked closely with an Architect to confirm the authenticity of my research and project preparation. In the last year of my 4-year undergraduate program, I participated in the National Architectural Model Making Competition, 2015-2016 organized by SPA (School of Architecture and Planning), New Delhi. I headed our team of 4 students and we also won the 2nd Prize; an achievement that was considered a sign of outstanding creativity by my college principal.
