ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA BERKELEY - EXTENSION
The campus of the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) administers continuing education through the University of California, Berkeley, Extension (UC Berkeley Extension). UC Berkeley Extension was established in 1891 to offer ongoing education through academic programmes that can support themselves. The extension's administrative offices and classes are located outside of the main UC Berkeley campus in Berkeley, California, and the Bay Area. Nearly 48,000 students annually enrol in over 2,000 courses through UC Berkeley Extension's 80 programmes. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has accredited UC Berkeley Extension through UC Berkeley.
