ABOUT FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY
1. Florida State Institution (FSU) is a public research university located in Tallahassee, Florida. It is a senior member of Florida's State University System. 2. It consists of 16 colleges, as well as more than 110 centres, facilities, labs, and institutions that offer over 360 academic programmes, including professional school programmes. 3. The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Florida State's only national laboratory, is located on campus, and it is where the commercially viable anti-cancer medication Taxol was developed. 4. At least 15 FSU alumni have served in the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and more than 12 alumni have served as mayors or other important leaders in the arts and entertainment.
