1. Florida State Institution (FSU) is a public research university located in Tallahassee, Florida. It is a senior member of Florida's State University System. 2. It consists of 16 colleges, as well as more than 110 centres, facilities, labs, and institutions that offer over 360 academic programmes, including professional school programmes. 3. The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Florida State's only national laboratory, is located on campus, and it is where the commercially viable anti-cancer medication Taxol was developed. 4.
