ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF UTAH
The University of Utah is a public research university in Salt Lake, Utah, in the United States. This university is the most important one in Utah. It has more than a hundred undergraduate majors and more than 92 graduate degree programmes. This university has been named one of the "Doctoral Universities with Very High Research Activity" because it has "higher transfer-in admissions" and is more selective about who it lets in. In 1850, the University of Utah began as the University of Deseret. It closed down in the end because it didn't have enough money or feeder schools. It was set up again in 1867, and in 1892, it got a new name: the University of Utah. At the beginning of the 20th century, the university grew a lot.
