ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING
The Institution of Stirling is a public university that was established in 1967 by royal charter and is located in Stirling, Scotland. It was constructed inside the Airthrey Castle estate, which is enclosed by walls and may be found in the Central Belt of Scotland. The Stirling University Innovation Park and the Dementia Centre are both located on the university's campus, which spans an area of approximately 360 acres (1.5 km2) in total. The Ochil Hills provide the backdrop for the university, which is situated at their base. The University of Stirling and the surrounding landscape of the Airthrey Estate were recognised as one of the top 20 heritage sites of the 20th century in the United Kingdom by the International Council on Monuments and Sites in the year 2002. As of the year 2022, the university is home to 14,000 students who attend either full- or part-time. Stirling University has partnered with universities in China's Hebei Normal University, Singapore's Singapore Institute of Management, and Oman to offer foreign degree programmes. The university's Master of Science in Human Rights and Diplomacy programme is the only one of its kind in the world to be taught in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. This makes it the only programme of its kind in the world (UNITAR).
