ABOUT BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY
Waltham, Massachusetts is home to the prestigious private research institution that is Brandeis University. On the grounds of what was formerly Middlesex University, Brandeis University was established in 1948 as an educational establishment that does not adhere to any particular religious doctrine and welcomes students of both sexes. The school was named after Louis Brandeis, who was the first Jewish person to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States. On its suburban campus, which was 235 acres in size, it had a total enrollment of 5,800 students in the year 2018. (95 hectares). The school provides more than 43 majors and 46 minors to its undergraduate students, and the majority of the classes have fewer than 20 students enrolled. It is designated as one of the "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity" universities in the United States.
