ABOUT CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY FULLERTON
Fullerton, California is home to a public institution of higher education known as California State University, Fullerton (CSUF or Cal State Fullerton). It has the largest undergraduate student body of the 23-campus California State University (CSU) system with a total enrollment of more than 41,000, and its graduate student body of more than 5,000 is one of the largest in the CSU and in all of California. As of the fall semester of 2016, the institution had a total faculty population of 2,083, of which 782 were working toward tenure. The university confers a total of 109 degrees, 55 of which are awarded at the undergraduate level, 54 at the graduate level, and three at the doctoral level. It is possible for Cal State Fullerton to be designated as an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander serving institution in addition to its current status as a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI) (AANAPISI). The following academic disciplines at the university have received national accreditation: art, athletic training, business, chemistry, communications, communicative disorders, computer science, dance, engineering, music, nursing, public administration, public health, social work, teacher education, and theatre. The spending that is associated with CSUF contributes approximately $2.26 billion to the economy of California and the surrounding area, and it helps to maintain nearly 16,000 jobs across the state. The Titans are the collective moniker given to all of CSUF's athletic programmes, which all participate in Division I of the NCAA. The Big West Conference is where they play their games.
