There are roughly 22,500 students enrolled in higher education programmes at the Institution of New England (UNE), which is a public university in Australia. The city of Armidale, which is situated in the middle of New South Wales's northern region, is the site of the institution's first and primary campus. UNE was the first university in Australia to be established at a location that was not the capital city of a state.
