ABOUT RYERSON UNIVERSITY
Founded and previously known as Ryerson University, Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU or Toronto Met) is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. With over 44,400 undergraduates and 2,950 graduate students enrolled there for the 2019–20 academic year, the university is a coed school. The 11-story, Brutalist-style building that houses the Toronto Metropolitan University Library, the university's primary academic library, was finished in 1974. In the academic year 2019–20, there will be 909 full-time faculty members at the university. 28,800 full-time undergraduate students and 2,600 full-time graduate students were enrolled at the university during that same year.
