ABOUT PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY YORK
Spring Garden Township, in York County, Pennsylvania, is home to the Commonwealth Campus of The Pennsylvania State University, also known as Penn State York. The campus can be found in Pennsylvania. It has roughly one thousand students enrolled. The York campus of the University of Pennsylvania was founded in 1939 in order to meet the demand for technical education and to give students the opportunity to fulfil the requirements for their first two years of study closer to home before continuing their education at the University Park campus. In 1953, the institution offered its first full associate degree programmes to students for the first time. In 1956, the establishment relocated to its current location. It is still a suburban commuter-campus today, and it encompasses a total area of 51 acres (210,000 m2).
