ABOUT CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY
Morrow, Georgia is home to Clayton State University, a public institution of higher education. It serves the Metro Atlanta and is a selective Senior Unit of the University System of Georgia. The primary campus is situated on a forested area that spans 192 acres (0.78 km2) and features five lakes and an overall park-like atmosphere. The primary campus is found in the north-central part of Clayton County, which is located in suburban south metro Atlanta. The main campus is approximately twenty minutes away from the heart of Atlanta and is only fifteen minutes away from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Clayton State University not only has a separate instructional location in Peachtree City, which is located in Fayette County, but it also has additional locations in Jonesboro, which is located in Clayton County, and McDonough, which is located in Henry County.
