ABOUT UPPER IOWA UNIVERSITY
Upper Iowa University, sometimes known as UIU, is a private institution that can be found in Fayette, Iowa. It has 15 facilities in the United States, as well as an online programme, an independent study programme, and centres in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. It has approximately 600 students enrolled, and it provides educational opportunities through distant learning. There are more than 6,000 students now enrolled at UIU, making it the largest university in the region. Upper Iowa University has a total of 29 undergraduate majors and 6 graduate programmes to choose from. Some of the undergraduate majors include art, business, conservation management, education, human services, information technology, liberal arts, math, nursing, psychology, and science. It is structured with two terms that are each eight weeks long, giving students the opportunity to enrol in two classes throughout each term. The Higher Learning Commission has given it their seal of approval. UIU's athletics programme is the only one of its kind in the state of Iowa to compete at the Division II level of the NCAA, and the university is a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
