University of Cumbria forms a partnership with Malvern International to build the University of Cumbria International College at Lancaster campus which will commence its student enrollment in September 2025.

The university works towards its 'Towards 2030' strategy which seeks global expansion along with student population diversity. The International College will deliver a complete selection of pathway programs and pre-master’s courses that enable international students to advance toward different undergraduate and postgraduate university programs.

The new international college development holds great meaning according to Claire Aindow who serves as Pro Vice Chancellor for Growth and Development at the University of Cumbria. She explains "International students significantly enhance our university's campus environment by fostering greater diversity and talent alongside improved experiences for all students and staff."
