NSUI demands ban on NTA after cancellation of UGC-NET exam

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has called for immediate measures against the National Testing Agency (NTA) after the cancellation of the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) exam conducted on June 18. This decision, according to NSUI, raises serious concerns about the integrity and security of NTA-conducted examinations.

In an official statement, NSUI President Varun Choudhary urged the Education Minister to take decisive steps, including banning the NTA and initiating legal action against its officials. "We have repeatedly highlighted the flaws and vulnerabilities in NTA's examination processes. The recent compromise of the UGC-NET exam is yet another example of their failure. The Education Minister must act responsibly and protect students' interests," Choudhary asserted.
