NMC Approves Seven New Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has given the green light to seven fresh medical schools in Uttar Pradesh, marking a major move forward in the improvement of the state's medical learning facilities. These new schools are set to be built in areas like Siddharthnagar, Deoria, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh, Hardoi, and Fatehpur, all boasting modern amenities and the ability to accommodate up to 100 MBBS students every year. This move is a key component of the Uttar Pradesh state government's wider plan to strengthen healthcare services and tackle the lack of medical staff in the area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the NMC's approval, emphasizing its role in reshaping the state's medical sector by nurturing competent medical graduates and boosting access to healthcare in areas that are currently underserved. The establishment of these schools is anticipated to not only deliver high-quality education but also improve healthcare services in the respective districts, leading to better health results and a more robust medical system in Uttar Pradesh.
