Girls Dominate J&K Board Class 12 Exams with 77% Pass Rate, Boys at 72%

 
The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced the Class 12 results, revealing that 74 percent of the 93,340 enrolled students passed the examination. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a 77 percent pass rate compared to the boys' 72 percent. Among the high achievers, 25,435 students secured distinction, and 33,437 students earned the first division.

The top three positions in all streams—Arts, Commerce, Science, and Home Science—were secured by female students. Anushah Gul, from Green Valley Educational Institute, achieved the highest overall score with 498 marks in Commerce. Gul credited her success to hard work, dedication, and the support of her parents and teachers. Expressing her joy, she emphasized the importance of giving 100 percent effort to achieve outstanding results.
