How Greenwich is Assisting Students Affected by the IH Sydney Closure
IH Sydney closes as Greenwich supports impacted students
On December 9, 2024, International House (IH) Sydney Training Services terminated operations. Due to this sudden shutdown, many overseas students are unsure of their future academic plans. Affected students will be supported and accommodated by Greenwich College to guarantee a seamless transition. Students and the institution will collaborate closely to transfer enrollments and offer any support that may be required.
Increased visa costs, the effects of Ministerial Direction 107, and the ambiguity surrounding the ESOS Amendment Bill are some of the reasons for IH Sydney's shutdown. Impacted students have received assurances from Greenwich College that their educational requirements will be given top priority, and that the resources they require will be made available to minimize any disruption to their studies.
