Free textbooks for intermediate students in Andhra Pradesh

Just three days after committing to providing free textbooks to intermediate students, Nara Lokesh, a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, initiated an action plan for their distribution.

Despite not yet officially assuming office in the state administration's central secretariat, Lokesh has already made significant strides in the education sector. On June 15, he met with senior officials from the higher education department. During the meeting, he expressed surprise upon learning that the YSRCP government had halted the distribution of textbooks to students in government-run intermediate colleges.
