Ramdhan Lodha, an 18-year-old hailing from Rajasthan, stands as a pioneer advocating for safer agricultural practices in India. His brainchild, a solar-powered weed-killing device, signifies a transformative stride toward sustainable farming methodologies.
During the Indian Silicon Valley Challenge, orchestrated by Scaler School of Technology, Ramdhan unveiled his groundbreaking invention. His solar-powered weed-killing apparatus captivated the judges' attention, earning him a notable accolade of Rs1 lakh for advancing his innovation.
"Growing up amidst farming communities, I witnessed firsthand the adversities farmers endure, particularly the health hazards involved. My aspiration was to devise a remedy that addresses these challenges while offering an environmentally conscientious alternative to conventional practices," Ramdhan elucidates.
Driven by this vision, Ramdhan engineered a solar-powered weed-killing contraption, presenting a safer and ecologically sustainable approach to weed management.
