IIM Kashipur has launched an executive post graduate certificate course in Rail Management, designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic rail industry. The 11-month program aims to prepare students with the tools and techniques necessary to effectively manage railway operations in India, a vast country with one of the largest railway networks. The program will be executive-friendly, with online classes every Sunday and 154 live training hours, including two days of campus immersion. The course structure includes foundation courses, core courses, and specialization courses. The program aims to develop management competency in railway professionals, preparing them to handle future challenges as the railway industry expands. With the expansion of Indian Railways and the global railway industry, job opportunities are being created, and new-age railway managers need digital skills. The Rail Management Programme will cater to the needs of rail management leadership roles and prepare individuals for project management roles across the globe in various rail management projects.
