Curtin University officially launches branch campus in Sri Lanka
Curtin University has officially inaugurated its latest global campus, Curtin University Colombo, during a gala event held in Sri Lanka. This marks the university's fifth global campus, following the establishment of similar locations in Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, and Mauritius. The collaboration between Curtin University and the Sri Lanka Institute of Information and Technology (SLIIT) has played a crucial role in introducing international best practices into the higher education landscape of Sri Lanka. The new campus in Colombo is designed to further improve research opportunities and expand both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the area.
At present, 700 students are enrolled in Curtin University programs in Sri Lanka, and applications for the upcoming semester are currently being accepted. The specially designed, modern facility will offer students access to high-quality international education, enabling them to benefit from the university's esteemed academic reputation and extensive global network. With the opening of Curtin University Colombo, the university reinforces its status as a prominent international institution dedicated to delivering world-class education to students worldwide.
