CBSE Class 10th, 12th Compartment Exam 2024: Supplementary Exams to begin today

Today marks the start of a critical period for millions of students across India as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) kicks off its Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exams, also referred to as Supplementary Exams. This period of exams is a crucial second chance for students who did not pass one or two subjects in the primary CBSE board exams conducted earlier this year.

Important Information for Students:

• Exam Dates: The Class 12th exams are scheduled for today, July 15th, for all subjects. The Class 10th exams will be divided over a week, from July 15th to July 22nd, with the specific dates varying by subject.
• Admit Card: It's essential for students to ensure they have obtained and printed a copy of their admit card, which includes their roll number, details of the exam venue, and essential exam guidelines.
• Key Point: Students who need to retake practical exams due to "Reappear in Practical (RP)" or "Repeat in Theory and Practical Both (RB)" will have their practical exams scheduled separately.
• Exam Importance: This period of supplementary exams provides students who barely passed or failed one or two subjects with a significant chance to boost their scores and advance in their academic journey. However, students who have failed three or more subjects in the primary exams are not eligible to participate in the supplementary exams.
