• Student dormitories: The university offers 7 halls of residence with more than 1,800 rooms for university students. Room types range from single rooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom to individual apartments. Rents range from € 250 to € 500 including electricity, water and heating.

• Private accommodation: There are also a large number of private apartments and shared accommodation (WG) for rent in Braunschweig. Prices range from € 250 to € 350 for a room in a shared apartment and from € 350 to € 500 for a single apartment, plus utility costs (electricity, water, heating).

• Other options: Other accommodation options include hostels, hotels, and bed and breakfasts. These can be more expensive than student dormitories or private accommodation, but they may be a good option if you are only staying in Braunschweig for a short period of time.

• Early application: It is important to apply for accommodation early, as waiting times for places in halls of residence are usually long. You can apply for accommodation through the university's website.
